Timidly Raising an Objection Against the Night

I just took a look out the window. You'll never guess what I saw out there. Ok, maybe you will. It's night my friends. And not just a little bit night, but well on our way past midnight.
But that's ok, we've done this enough times that I can just skip the preamble and head into the meat and potatoes of the thing. Which would be a bulleted checklist of topics*. Are you excited? I'm excited.

*I decided while I was writing this to incorporate the songs I was listening to into each little segment. So if things seem a little odd in places, that's why.

1. Now, it's been a long time since we've rocked and rolled, but I think I have something to make up for it. Every Friday, I'm going to post a new chapter from my book. The book that I haven't finished yet. And yes, if I had stuck to the plan I came up with back in January, I would have been long done with it. But that's not the point. The point is, every Friday, you can tune into a new chapter and since I've been writing it like an old style serial, it's already perfectly suited to be serialized. Once again, it'll be protected and I'll be reposting the first chapter this Friday. If you can't see it, shoot me an email and I'll make sure you're on the protected list. If you WANT to see it that is. If you don't, then don't bother contacting me. Obviously.

2. I've been hunting for jobs recently, but I haven't actually found anything, not even at the damn mall. This is depressing. The mall should always have jobs available. But tomorrow I'm going to volunteer my services at the psych department at UNC so they can stick burning hot needles in me to see if I feel pain. Or something like that. As long as they pay me, I'd let them subject me to looks that kill.

3. Speaking of UNC, my semi-alma mater has yet to release me from its brick-paved grip. It seems like every step I take, every breathe I take, they're watching me. But no matter, I plan on making like a runaway and getting free of them. One way...or the other. I'm not sure why I wrote that last sentence so ominously.

4. Yeah, that's it.

Although I'm looking forward to the story posts, regular posts would be good, too.
